Group horse ride on the Lido di Venezia beach

For international guests

Welcome to the Equestrian Club

Ride between the lagoon and the Adriatic, a short waterbus trip from St Mark's Square.

Your questions, answered

+Where is the club and how do I get there from Venice?

We are at Via Cristoforo Colombo 41, Lido di Venezia. From Venice take an ACTV waterbus (lines 1, 5.1 or 5.2) to Lido Santa Maria Elisabetta, then a short bus ride. By car, take the ferry from Tronchetto to the Lido.

+When can I ride on the beach?

Beach rides only run from early October to late April. There are no beach rides during the summer bathing season.

+Do I need riding experience?

No for walk-only rides led by an instructor. Rides that include canter require you to manage a horse on your own. Tell us your level when you book.

+Can I book a single lesson while on holiday?

Yes. Our riding school has federal (FISE) instructors and offers trial lessons for children and adults. Send a request and we will confirm the date and time.

+What should I wear?

Long trousers and closed shoes with a small heel. Bring a jacket in the cooler months. A riding helmet is required; ask us when booking if you need one.

+How much does it cost?

Price depends on the activity, duration and number of riders. Write or call us for current rates.

+How do I book, and is my booking confirmed straight away?

Use the booking form at least one week ahead (we are closed on Sundays). Requests are not binding: your booking only exists once our office confirms it by phone, WhatsApp or email.

+Do the instructors speak English?

Yes, our instructors speak English, so lessons and rides can be held in English. You can also contact us in English by email or WhatsApp at +39 348 033 2860.
